Diddy recently did and interview with Parade Magazine and spoke on his issues surrounding relationships and why he has sleepless nights. I found this interesting... especially to hear him discuss himself in relationships and what he knows to be his issues. They say knowing is half the battle! I can see how it would be difficult for a female to be in a relationship with such a hard working man... wish him luck in love though!
On never having a successful relationship:
“I’ve had a lot of success and I’ve had a lot of material things, but I’ve never conquered love. I’ve never just had that always successful relationship. That’s due to the fact of me working and not paying attention to the girl, or me also feeling that the girl doesn’t appreciate me. And then I get a girl that really knows how to love me and I’ll press the self-destruct button because it makes me feel uncomfortable that she’s loving me so much. I just want to be happy. You know what I’m saying? I just want to be happy and I want to be able to make somebody else happy. I don’t think I need a ring or picket fence or whatever society’s definition of happiness is in a relationship. I just want to be happy in my heart.
On his sleeping problem:
I’m like a child inside and I really get excited, so sometimes when I’m trying to go to bed, I’m so excited about the next day that I can’t go to sleep. That’s the way it kind of started out. But now me not sleeping has just turned into a problem. It’s something that I’m just trying to take care of and fix so I can get more rest.”

Over the weekend Jennifer Hudson and Terrence Howard attending 63rd Annual Cannes Film Festival in Cannes, France where they announced the new Winnie Mandela Bio film will begin shooting in South Africa this month. As reported a few months back Jennifer will play Winnie and now Terrence has been chosen to play Nelson Mandela. Wow... they must feel really honored to take on these roles. Mos Def Joins Gulf Aid Concert

Mos Def has joined the line up of artists who are getting together for the Gulf Aid Concert. This is a benefit concert to assist is Lousianna's coast. Other artists include Lenny Kravitz, John Legend and many more. The event takes place Sunday may 18th at Mardi Gras World River City from 12pm-10pm. This is their way of helping clean up over 4 million gallons of oil that has spilled since an April 20th explosion on the Deepwater Horizon off the coast of Louisiana. This is really nice... if your in the Louisiana area please support. Tickets are $50.

Judge Issues Bench Warrant For Siohvaughn Wade

Dwayne Wade and Siohvaughn Wade were scheduled to appear in court yesterday (May 11th) morning and Siohvaughn did not show up. The judge decided to give her until the afternoon to contact them and when she never did the judge has now issued a bench warrant and set bail at $10,000. This does not make her look good. “When things don’t go according to Mrs. Wade’s way, all of a sudden the phone’s turned off,” the judge said. “Maybe it’s time for the kids to go live with Dad for a month or two,” the judge added. Hhmm.. The last place you want to leave a bad impression... is court.

Prayers and condolences going out to the family and friends of our legendary Jazz singer and actress Lena Horne. The Associated Press press reports, she passed away Sunday at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital at 92, according to hospital spokeswoman Gloria Chin. That is all that has been said thus far. Lena Mary Calhoun Horne, the great-granddaughter of a freed slave, was born in Brooklyn on June 30, 1917.

Mary J. Blige is helping give back to public schools through the Procter and Gamble's Bounty brand and Russ Simmon's Rush Philanthropic Arts Foundation. The picture above is of Mary and Russel with PS 165 Principal Pedro Dela Cruz. Bounty held a "Make a Clean Difference" event there earlier this week. They have teamed up with over 1000 volunteers and will be going to 30 public schools within 10 cities through June. This is nice. Children should definately be able to learn in a clean environment... they are in these buildings the majority of their days.

As it was reported yesterday Dwayne Wade's soon to be ex-wife filed a suit against his alleged girlfriend Gabrielle Union. Claiming that their children are not properly looked after while in his care and that Gabrielle is causing emotional distress for the two children. This is so sad to see. He did make a statement...

Dwyane tells TMZ, “I am shocked that Siohvaughn Wade has brought this baseless and meritless lawsuit in the name of our children against Gabrielle Union. I am deeply saddened and disappointed that Siohvaughn has used our sons once again as pawns and is now lashing out at Gabrielle, who is an innocent party. It is clear that this is a desperate attempt to retaliate against me for seeking sole custody of our children and requesting that the court have her undergo a psychiatric examination. My primary concern is my children and actions such as this only inflame the situation and are harmful to their well being.”
Gabrielle Union also rejects Siohvaughn’s claims, apologized to the court system for having to deal “with erroneous claims when there are real victims who should be receiving the legal attention they need.”
I can't even understand this... "if" they truly are going through some distress.. this lawsuit is only adding to it.

It was reported that barricades and strong security was in place to hold back fans as Eminem walk down Market Street with the camera crew. Fans were upset by the barricades.... which I don't know why??? As if you would be allowed to just walk right up to him as he is working??? Hello?! lol. But Eminem calmed them down with a simple wave. Nice. I can't wait to see this video. Love the song! His album "Recovery" is being said to release June 22nd.

Well, we all know she ended up having to deal with Jesse's cheating. But congrats to Sandra and her son, Louis Bardo Bullock she adopted from New Orleans... this is awesome to see.
“He’s just perfect, I can’t even describe him any other way. It’s like he’s always been a part of our lives.” Sandra states she now is adopting as a single parent and has filed for divorce.
As for Jesse she says, “I really don’t know how our paths will intersect in the future, but the father I have known Jesse to be … is one that I hope Louis can experience one day, no matter how Jesse and I go on with our lives.”

So we have all been seeing some disappointing footage of Whitney on her tour and Sunday night during her show in London she actually had to stop and apologize to her fans as her voice was just not working for her. (sad face) According to newspaper reports, many fans walked out as she struggled to sing I Will Always Love You.
She told the crowd, “She don’t want to come, my soprano friend. Sometimes the old girl sings, but not tonight. I want to do it, but she doesn’t want to… She’s getting a little… temperamental, even.”
Wow.. this must be so difficult for her. We all wanted to see a great come back but Whitney's vocal cords have been through it and we all know it. I'm thinking maybe she should only do a show once or twice a week. Her just isn't strong enough for a full tour like most artists do. We love you Whitney!

Wyclef returned to NY last night with three female victims in order to pay for the articial limbs through YELE. One girl is 18 years old and the two others are 17 years old. Very nice... they must be so grateful to Wyclef and those who have donated. This is what our money can do. Makes me smile.

It has definitely calmed me down, I had a bad temper in the past and I don’t as much anymore. My son definitely puts stuff into perspective. A lot of things that I thought were really important aren’t. I don’t look at the surface as much anymore. A lot of things I was doing before was really selfish and now it’s not about me, it’s about him. Being a mother (to me) comes very natural. I think God definitely blessed me.

I don’t feel the pressure to tweet and share my business because I feel like my personal life is my peronal life. I do know in this day and age that I can be at a club and someone can take a picture and it’ll be out the next day that I’m dating so and so. They talked about me so bad during my pregnancy, at this point what else can they say?
On the negative comments concerning her pregnancy:
I’m not going to lie, it hurt. Because when a woman is pregnant (to me) is when she is her most beautiful and as pure as she can be and there was a lot of people that said something negative about what I was doing. And at some point it did hurt my feelings and I had to let it go, because it was not going to distract me from what God had me doing. Point blank period, I love my baby.

I agree with Ms. Info, he does sound more cautious with his words but that's ok these things take time. This is definately a big step for them. Good job. Hope things fall back into place.
